I recently signed up for the SharedINK photographer’s program found here: http://www.sharedink.com/members/fpo/fpo_join.aspx . You get a free Swatch Book, Additional paper, liner, and cover choices. Plus you get a custom copper die logo stamped on the back of your books if you like. There are a couple of different memberships, but I chose the Premium Membership and so far I’ve been extremely happy with my choice. Next week I should be receiving my first photo book and so I’ll be able to write more about the quality. I should also mention that the system and service is outstanding. I’ve really been impressed so far. There are other companies who do this, but SharedINK came highly recommended, so I decided to give them a try first. Again, you can click the link above for more information.Â

I had on my on this for a little while and now I see it has been released. I’m talking about the new Sureshot system produced by Ron Reznick. You can find more information located at sureshotsystem.com. For the money and what you get, I think this could be a fabulous instructional set of photography DVDs. Last I checked, there was a promo deal for 69.99 for the 5 DVDs, plus you get a 30 day MBG which is also fabulous. Later today I plan to order this and will later write more info once I receive the system. Why am I buying this? Well after spending a considerable amount of money on PPSOP and Betterphoto courses, I decided that there’s got to be something better and this looks to be it. There’s 10 hours of video instruction where you get a first hand look at what a very good photographer does from setting up their shots to developing a digital darkroom workflow. No doubt, most if not all the concepts I learned with the online courses will be covered, but I’ll get much more out of the Video instruction for sure. Consider this….I spent $590.00 on the PPSOP online system with two classes. The Sureshot system is a mere $70.00!! One might say, you get what you pay for and we’ll certainly see.  Something tells me though, that the Sureshot system is going to prove that theory has flaws. I’ll update my post shortly once I’ve had a chance to watch some of the DVDs. Thanks to Ron for what looks to be a great set of DVDs.
