With this photo, I first adjusted the color using curves. I adjusted each channel invdividually. Then I used the hue/saturation adjustment to desaturate the reds a tiny bit. I then used levels slightly, but they looked pretty good. I finally incorporated some special techniques to selectively add white to the overall photo in desired areas. I did a final curves adjustment to brighten up the final look.
This shot was taken with a Nikon D200 and a 17-55mm lense.

Here is a photo I did quite a bit of post processing with. I actually used this as a practice image and just decided to post it here even though I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the photo. I felt I could have done much better with the light bulb for example among a few other things. I also feel that there may be too many subjects in this photo and that I should have done more to either crop or isolate just one. In any event, I thought it was a good photography to try some new techniques.
For the most part I worked quite a bit with levels and curves using masks to either add or remove the adjustments. I also used both the exposure and sculpture options with Lucis Art, but only sparingly. I then used an effect using the Virtual Photographer Plugin that worked with the blacks and whites. I then used some blending modes along with additional curves and levels to finish the photo. Oh, I also added a texture I shot on the street.
The photo was taken with a Nikon D200 and a 70-200mm VR zoom lense.
