Took some time out today and did a bunch of self portraits to work on some flash lighting. This self portrait was done using one SB-800 with an umbrella to the left and a light on the right that was diffused using a rectangular scrim. I used a D200 and the 17-55mm lens. Also down in front of me I am using a Wescott silver/gold reflector to kick more light up in front. Behind me there is a Botero collapsible background. Everything was really easy and quick to setup which is what I want. I also triggered the camera using the infrared remote system for the Nikon D200. I had it set for delay which allowed me to compose myself for a few seconds before the shot.
