This is a luck charm or fortune that was tied to a wooden post probably shortly after New Years. These little charms are quite elaborate and detail what fortunes may be ahead of you for the New Year. The luck ranges from bad to fantastic. It’s all a luck of the draw. I like the colors in these charms very much.
