Castle Skyward is just trying to get an interesting perspective on Nagoya Castle. Almost everywhere is looking up so it was a challenging to find something different. I wish there was a place to look down on the castle, but then I guess you couldn’t call it a castle then.

Window Veins of Nagoya Castle displays up close the detail of the walls and windows of the fortress. I managed to get lots of shots similar to this which were pretty cool. If anyone visits Nagoya Castle, be sure to bring a good zoom lens as you will need it to get up close like this. For this shot I had the 70-300 which worked very well I thought. I could have brought the 70-200, but I didn’t have much room in my bag as I had to pack other things. Although I don’t like variable aperture lenses very much, I do use the 70-300 quite a bit because it is light weight and it seems to take pretty good shots between the 200-300mm range.
