A few days ago I received an email regarding my black Nikon AI-S Nikkor 45mm lens I purchased last year. Here is how the email read:
I’ve been trying to find a NIKON 45mm F2.8 Manual Black for years. Don’t suppose you want to sell yours do you?
The short and simple answer I’m afraid is “Nope”! I purchased my black Nikon Pancake lens off of the ebay store named “Matsuiyastore” which is located in Japan. In fact I checked as of the date of this post and saw that they had a silver one for sale. They are listing it for $275.00. I can’t remember off hand, but I believe I paid over $300 for my black lens. Occasionally, Matsuiyastore gets a black version of the Nikon 45mm Pancake lens, but you might have to check back often. I can definitely vouch for this Ebay seller. They are excellent and I would not hesitate at all to buy from them at any time. Top notch Ebay Store!!
The NIKON 45mm F2.8 lens that I purchased last year is completely brand new with everything you see in the photo below, except I bought the black version which to me looks cool on my Nikon D200. The black and silver lenses are the same of course, but I guess I just like the black on my camera better. That’s just me I suppose.
