Colors in photography is something I like to shoot very much. In this shot I really like the green lantern against the bright orange background. I found this scene at a nearby temple in Nagano City Japan. I was going for some subject isolation work, but not like blurring the background, but rather using color to isolate a particular subject. This lantern was also rather high above me so I had to zoom in as much as I could, but not too close as I wanted the texture and orange color background to enhance the lantern. I then later post processed the photo in Photoshop CS3 to add some pop to the photo. All in all, I thought the photography and photoshoot in general turned out well.
