Well the DVDs arrived yesterday. It took about two weeks to get the items from Midwest Photo Exchange located in Columbus, OH. This is the only place offering the Strobist DVDs at this time. I paid $139 dollars for the 8 DVD set and was dinged with $35.00 shipping to Japan via UPS. UPS then dinged me for 600 yen duty which is the first time I have ever had to pay duty for any DVDs. Thus aside from the Strobist DVDs, I wish I could have purchased them from some other company. Midwest Photo Exchange probably made a few bucks of the postage and UPS definitely made a few bucks as well. I just hate it sometimes when it’s so unnecessary. Now on to viewing the DVDS. I’ll post another update shortly. Geez….we should have a viewing party!
