This is a photo of my daughter Aily taken with the Nikon D70s and Nikkor 35mm F2D lense.  I shot this on a very overcast day around 11:00AM.  The settings were ISO200, F/11, with a shutterspeed of 1/250 sec.  I was experimenting with fill flash so this was taken with the SB-800 mounted and White Balance set to flash.  I’m not sure if that was a good idea, but again I was just experimenting with the settings a little bit.

That day my daughter had an interest in collecting sticks to play with the pond water nearby.  She also saw a butterfly which excited her because she was wearing her new butterfly sweatshirt.

You will notice the blown highlights a bit around the trees.  I am not sure how to get rid of that.  I need to practice and work on that more.
