Yesterday I took some photos of the Sakura ( Cherry Blossom ) trees now in bloom in Nagano, Japan. This photo was taken with the Nikon D200 and Nikon 28mm f/1.4 lense. The Sakura trees only last about one week so it’s generally pretty busy trying to get some shots and avoiding all the crowded people around them. It’s also a generally overcast and windy time here in Japan during the Sakura season so I was lucky to get some blue sky in the background. I think this enhances the Sakura trees quite a bit.
