This photo was taken in a local Japanese Restaurant. I like to take my camera with me as much as I can and while waiting for lunch or dinner will take some shots if possible. Everyone thinks I’m a tourist anyway even though I’ve been in Japan for a long time, so I might as well make the best of it. The photo was taken with the Nikon D200 and 50mm f/1.4 lense. I have also done some texture layering with shots taken of some rocks with the Nikon 105mm VR along with other color techniques in Photoshop CS3.

Today I just received my new Black with Tan interior 7 Million Dollar Messenger Bag from Crumpler. This bag to my surprise is absolutely awesome. I purchased it from a Japanese camera company named Kitamura Camera where I’ve purchased some Nikon lenses before. I have many Lowe Pro bags and a couple of Kata bags, but for running out the door with my camera and some lenses, I really think this is one of the best bags I own. In fact I like it so much that I ordered a second bag but in Red and Black.
Generally when I walk around I carry my camera either in hand or around my neck. I rarely pack it into my bag because I am always taking pictures or something. I am always afraid that if I tuck away my camera, I’ll miss the shot. So, I find the Crumpler to be perfect for sticking a few lenses, a flash, plus a few other accessories. This doesn’t leave much room, if any for my camera, but like I said I usually have it out and ready to shoot even if I’m having a cup of coffee or a sandwich. On a rainy day I just tuck my camera under my jacket or something and head for the car or shelter. You can however make room for the camera and a couple of lenses if so desired. Either way, the bag looks cool and it’s extremely convenient for street shooting hands down. I love it!
