The new Jim Atwood Photography website has now been launched. For those professional photographers and designers out there in the know, you’ll noticed I went with a website professionally designed by Blu Domain. I felt the site was perfect for my needs and above all, it again allows me to spend the majority of my time out participating in photoshoots. I also will have plenty of time to further advance my Photoshop post processing skills which I love doing the most. So, I am extremely excited to have what I think is a pretty nifty site that will showcase my work and interests. I have found the single greatest ingredient to better photography and Photoshop work is practice, practice, and more practice. Thus everything I do now pretty much goes into helping me to create more time to do just that.
Happy shooting!
Jim

Well I decided to discontinue my pursuit of the Photo Japan Workshop forum as several have noticed with the website no longer available. The reason for this is that I didn’t realize how much the website took away from my photography instead of enhancing it. I obviously knew it was a ton of work to operate a website forum as I already run several other sites on different non-photographic topics, however what I want to do most is continue shooting my camera rather than spend all my time typing behind a keyboard. I also found my Photoshop post processing time diminishing as well which alarmed me. Sooo … I pulled the plug for the website. I apologize for those had a profound interest in the site. The domain Photoshoot Japan will now be redirecting traffic to my new photography portfolio website.
I should also note that I am always open to getting together with other photographers in Japan to exchange photoshooting tips and techniques. I enjoy doing that very much and will definitely be interested in any and all inquiries from and outside Japan. Please feel free to email me anytime if you are in Japan and interested in putting together a photoshoot.

I plan to leave the other previous posts online. Perhaps there might be others interested in doing something similar with regards to workshops in Japan and they might find some inspiration or ideas from my posts.
Now I’m off to have fun shooting!!
Thanks very much,
Jim
