I am constantly impressed with how clean and neat things are in Japan. This is a tatamit stairway that gets a lot of foot traffic each day, yet it is still spotless and in fabulous shape!

There are just a ton of interesting textures and Japanese Kanji writing to photograph throughout Japan. I found this stone wall and though it just begged for a photograph. Pretty cool I thought.
